WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Winemaker: Kerry G. Damskey Purple-black in color, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Palmeris 2002 mountain grown Stagecoach Vineyard showcases the best of both varieties. With lively aromas of sweet cedar, a hint of blackberry and brambly nutmeg, the pleasurable sweetness in the nose is rich, inviting and clearly something new. The structure has an elegantly crafted Cabernet signature with great berry notes and smooth finish. The middle palate reveals the Syrah pedigree. Full and voluptuous; it fills the mouth with a perfect middle note. Black fruited flavor and some vanilla, perfectly integrated, giving the seasoned enophile something new and wondrous to enjoy. Awarded Top of Class and Judges Choice by the 2007 Women's Wine Competition. $45.05 (Available to Altitudes One-Hundred Members only) |
