Deep and intense purple hues with a rim of red violet define the color of our 2004 Van Ness Vineyard Syrah. The aroma is inviting with hints of licorice, black cherry, violets and smoky anise. The palate has a smooth “attack” that is round and full. The flavors are powerfully framed by ripe tannins and lush Mountain Syrah fruit that are both lasting and brightly balanced. $53
