We had so much fun meeting with other women winemakers at the What Women Want Grand Tasting event, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco in June. The distinguished panel of the National Women's Wine Competition chose our Palmeri 2002 Cabernet Syrah for the 2007 Judges Choice Grand Sweepstakes Award.

"If not the most outgoung, fruit-bomb-style Syrah around, this deep and fairly complete effort certainly has enough ripe fruit at its heart to provide a solid platform for its complex mix of spice, stones, black pepper and dried berries.
